Sulfites
Robert Lee Kendrick

No chart for these constellations
woven in wild grass, ragweed --
needle head novas glimmering dirt,
remains of red giants, white dwarves,
star scars once scattered in cold solar
winds, gassed magma marbled and forged,
beaten to Earth  bone and sinew,
finally pushed to crust's farthest edge,
somehow still pulsing with light.
